Job Objectives
Assure effective & efficient operations of the systems/equipment’s and meet the productivity targets of each system/equipment
Duties & Responsibilities
- Audit of Gas Collection System to recommend up gradation of the Gas Wells and collection, conveyance pipeline and evacuation system of the Landfill Sites.
- Audit of the Flares and suggest service requirements if any.
- Run the Flares and Analyze the Bio-Gas Production of each Gas Well and draw the Gas Curve based on the data collected from the Gas collection system.
- Design & Construct Engineering Landfill for MSW and Hazardous waste.
- Plan the Preventive Maintenance Schedule with respect to all the equipment’s/Systems in the Landfill
- Manage the Servicing, Maintenance & Operation of power generation systems and other systems/equipment’s at landfill sites
- Assess the working of technical systems and machines to ensure the best possible output.
- Reviewing Environmental Studies and implementation of EIA, EMP, HSMP, CEMP standards
- Corrective, Preventative & Routine maintenance of all the systems & equipment’s at site.
- Ensuring that systems/equipment’s are working and meeting design specifications by familiarity with all the relevant drawings and written instructions, checking them and using them as reference when inspecting the productivity of the systems/equipment’s
- Generate management reports for the activities to be used by the senior management to take decisions with real time data and information
- Follow necessary safety protocols and government regulations.
- Compliance and implementation of company environmental protection H&S, and quality assurance procedures with a proactive approach to maintaining,
- Commitment to training self & sub-ordinates to enhance knowledge and skills with regard to environmental protection and emergency preparedness skills
- Any reasonable task required by the management in exercising of its goals
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Certifications: Quality, and any other related certifications will be an added advantage
Experience: 8 years’ experience in handling Landfills, mechanical systems/equipment’s in Landfill Gas Production & Management.
Skills: Familiar with computer operations and familiar with Microsoft software such as: Excel, Word, etc., Analytical Skills, and ability to manage staff, Negotiation Skills. Ability to manage cordial relationships with staff and suppliers.
Language: fluent in speaking/writing English language. Knowledge of speaking/writing Arabic would be an advantage.
